Debt collection across North Auckland

Recovering unpaid invoices across Rodney, Warkworth, Wellsford and the North Shore — the southern end of our patch, and the busiest corridor we work.

Debt recovery across North Auckland and Rodney

The corridor from the North Shore up through Silverdale, Warkworth and Wellsford is the southern end of our coverage, and a large share of our work sits along it.

The Auckland-north problem, in reverse

Plenty of North Auckland businesses trade north — building supplies, contracting, equipment hire, transport and professional services with clients throughout Northland. When one of those accounts goes bad, the debtor is often three or four hours away.

Auckland-based agencies will accept those files, but a Kaitaia or Dargaville debtor sits at the very bottom of the priority list, because attending is uneconomic. So the Northland debts in an Auckland agency’s ledger are usually the ones that quietly go nowhere.

We work the corridor as a single area. A debtor in Silverdale and a debtor in the Far North get the same treatment, including attendance, because both are within our normal working range.

Rapid growth, and the disputes that follow it

Warkworth, Silverdale and the wider Rodney district have seen sustained residential and commercial construction. Rapid build activity reliably produces payment disputes — longer subcontractor chains, more parties, and more opportunities for a link in the chain to stall.

That is a large part of what we handle here: subcontractors and suppliers who have completed work, invoiced correctly, and are now several months into being managed rather than paid.

The work we see here

Construction and subcontracting. Deep payment chains across the Rodney growth areas, where the party who did the work is last to be paid.

Building supply and equipment hire. Trade accounts that drift out and then stop.

Transport and logistics. Operators running freight north with accounts across both regions.

Professional and business services. The standard pattern — work delivered, value received, invoice ignored.

Common questions

You are a Northland firm — why use you in Auckland?

Because a great many North Auckland businesses have debtors further north, and most Auckland agencies quietly deprioritise those files. We work the whole corridor as one area, so a debtor in Warkworth and a debtor in Kaitaia get the same treatment.

Do you cover central and south Auckland?

Our in-person coverage runs from central Auckland north. We handle correspondence-based recovery more widely, but if a file will clearly need repeated attendance in south or west Auckland we will say so upfront rather than take it on and stall.

What does it cost?

A $120 set-up fee to open the file, then 20% of what we actually recover, plus disbursements. If we recover nothing no commission is payable, though the set-up fee and any disbursements still apply — the same terms across our whole coverage area.
